Are you up for a challenge and an experience of a lifetime? In spring 2012 a 3 to 3.5 month challenging expedition will be organised crossing Northern Canada and Alaska with dogsled, on skis, on foot and by canoe. The targeted finish of the expedition will be on top of one of the mountains of Alaska.
What should you expect? It will be a physically and mentally demanding journey, with stunning
scenery, companionship, dramatic weather changes, pristine environment, hardship, wildlife & vast wilderness.
Participation is open to anyone who is motivated, committed and capable. Age itself is not an issue and don’t worry to much about skills and experience as preparation will consist of teambuilding and training meetings in Great Britain and Norway as well as personal training sessions.
The team will consist - in principle - of 6 to 8 members plus guides.
Costs are yet to be determined and sponsorship is stil to be addressed. The fundraising will be beneficial to Help
for Heroes or an outdoor activities charity for the disabled.
A first meeting is intended in Scotland late autumn this year.
